The Moanalua High School “Menehune” Marching Band needs your help! As this nationally acclaimed band strives to new heights, musical demands on the field begin to require additional auxiliary voices. After many years of suggestions from professional judges, it is now time for our marching band to have a marimba on the field. This outdoor purpose marimba will be of use to students in the classroom as well as on the marching field and allow them to generate the necessary sounds that musical scores today demand.

The cost of a new field marimba is $5000 and unfortunately dwindling school budgets do not support purchases of this magnitude. We are currently soliciting donations of any amount to hopefully enable us to purchase a new field marimba by April 2008.
