The Hawaii Theatre
From The Top celebrates kids who've
shown commitment to music and the arts.
Through their nationally broadcast radio
show, their in-school programs and their
website, From The Top strives to give
dedicated young classical musicians a
platform to express themselves and inspire
others.
The 55-member Punahou Symphony Strings, two
pianists, a violinist and a double bassist
are among the local outstanding young
classical musicians selected to perform on
the two tapings scheduled by the nationally
broadcast program FROM THE TOP when it comes
to Hawaii in January 2006 for two live
tapings. The first taping is in Honolulu at
the Hawaii Theatre on Wednesday, January
11th and the second is scheduled for the
MACC’s Castle Theater on Friday, January
13th. Andrew Ramos, a freshman pianist
at Moanalua High School will be one of the
featured students in the nights program. |
