Attention all Music Dept. Families!!! Come out to our annual Sup-a-Long event!!! This is a yearly event put on by your amazing Music Boosters Assn. come out and enjoy a pleasant and low key evening with all of us. It will begin at 5pm with an exhibition by our very own Marching Band. This will be followed by some announcements to all music dept, parents and friends and of course dinner.
Please be sure that your child turns in their reply forms no later than Tuesday August 25th. Just ask them for the yellow form. They all received them in class. Although attendance to this event is optional....all replies from each student is MANDATORY!!!!

Hi everyone! If you have your previous newspapers that you are about to throw away...STOP!!! The music dept. can use them. Every day the band classes go through a lot of newspaper that is used to keep the "water" of the brass from getting on to our carpet.
Due to the economy, our sources for getting newspapers have disappeared. So...if you have any past newspapers...send them over to the music room. We could sure use them. We are running down to almost nothing.
However...not wanting for this to sound wrong in any way...We will not be able to accept newspaper that has been sitting outside in garages or on your patios. Reason is...in the past we had generous people donating their newspapers from their garages, however we soon had an investation of unwanted visitors in our room. Spiders, Roaches, Lizards..and even Scorpions became a hazard for the students health safety. Don't mean to sound choosey in anyway...just thinking of student safety. =)

A special thank you to all of the parents, alumni, and friends for all that you did to make our Annual MB Picnic a great success. The students had a blast and the food was amazing. You are all the best! Thanks for always making the music dept. a great place to be. We are all truly grateful!
